CHALLENGE

Position UTRGV as a brand-new university offering innovative and exciting education opportunities to Rio Grande Valley citizens, energizing the local economy and inspiring residents to think bigger about their collective future.

SOLUTION

The "We Will" brand idea emphasizes a powerful commitment to bringing communities together and empowering multicultural students and their communities. By fostering inspirational opportunities and celebrating accomplishments, the campaign uplifts UTRGV’s message, positioning the institution as a force for positive impact, benefiting not only students but also the wider community and the state of Texas.

RESULTS

UTRGV integrated the “We Will” campaign across multiple platforms, including print, online, social media, and grand-opening events, generating excitement and buy-in for the messaging platform.
UTRGV’s first-year enrollment goals were exceeded by more than 1,000 students, enrolling just over 29,000 students in fall 2015.
